OCC Scrap And Mixed Paper Scrap

OCC Grade 11Also known as corrugated containers, these are mainly used for recycling. They are usually made of kraft, jute, or test liners.

OCC Grade 12 Also known as Double Sorted Corrugated (DS OCC), these are double corrugated containers that come from supermarkets, commercial facilities, and industrial facilities. They are sorted to remove boxboard, off-shore corrugated materials, wax, and plastic.

OCC grade 11 includes corrugated containers having test liners, jute & kraft. OCC grade 12 or double sorted corrugated includes various types generated from industrial, supermarket & commercial facilities which are specially sorted to remove wax, plastic & off-shore items.

OCC covers all corrugated cardboard boxes. Corrugated refers to those boxes where the materials is made from three separate layers of paper, two liners and a corrugated, or wavy, layer sandwiched between them. Brown paper bags are commonly accepted with OCC for recycling.

White Ledger Paper

White Ledger Paper means bleached, uncolored bond, rag, or stationery grade paper, without ground wood fibers. It may have colored ink on it. When the paper is torn, the fibers are white. Examples include white paper used in photocopiers and laser printers, and letter paper.

Ledger paper is commonly used in business applications for keeping records, or in legal applications such as wills, deeds, etc., and consequently requires a high degree of permanence.

A white paper is a research-based report which offers a focused description of a complex topic and presents the point of view of the author or body represented by the author. The purpose of a white paper is to give readers understanding of an issue, which in turn helps them solve a problem or make a decision.

Sorted Office Paper

Consists of paper, as typically generated by offices, containing primarily white and colored groundwood-free paper, free of unbleached fiber. May include a small percentage of groundwood computer printout and facsimile paper. Prohibitive Materials may not exceed 1%

Office paper is a generic name given to a wide variety of paper products used in offices and businesses, including writing, computer and copying paper. These grades have longer fibers and are brighter than newspaper and packaging grades.

Similar to bond paper, uncoated paper is typically found in office printers. It has no coating, making it the perfect medium for ink use and absorbency.

ONP( Old newspaper)

According to most scholars, the first newspaper was the Acta Diurna, invented by the Romans. It shared gossip, provided information on events, and contained birth and death announcements just like modern newspapers. This newspaper was considered a gazette, an official journal of abstract current events.

Use old newspapers to clean windows and surfaces. The paper's texture helps in a streak-free shine, making it an excellent alternative to paper towels. Shredded or torn paper can be used as mulch in your garden. It helps retain soil moisture, suppress weeds, and gradually decompose to enrich the soil.

High-grade deinked paper

High Grade Deinked Paper: This grade is made of high grade paper such as letterhead, copier paper, envelopes, and printer and convertor scrap that has gone through the printing process. It must first be deinked before it can be reprocessed into high grade paper products such as printing and writing papers or tissue.

High grade papers. Usually deinked, these primarily include printed and unprinted white papers collected from converting operations, printing plants, and offices. ■ Kraft paper.Any paper made from sulfate pulp. The “kraft” paper in the.

The Deinking Process in the paper industry is the process of removing ink from paper fibers to produce clean and high-quality recycled paper. This is a crucial step in the paper recycling process as it ensures the final product is free from ink residues and other contaminants.

Box Board Cuttings

BBC Consists of baled new cuttings of paperboard that are used in the manufacture of folding papers cartons, set-up boxes and similar boxboard products.

A cutting box is a container or enclosure specifically designed to capture and contain drilling waste generated.

A cutting board is a solid, flat board used during food preparation or service to protect countertops and other surfaces from damage while slicing food items. They also prevent cross-contamination in the kitchen by providing separate places to prepare different foods, such as raw meat and vegetables.

Groundwood paper

Groundwood paper has been widely used across the publishing industry, particularly for mass-market paperbacks, for a long time. The paper color is slightly less bright than crème. And this reduced brightness makes long reading sessions easier on the eyes.

Newsprint, which is used for newspapers, is considered a groundwood paper stock, but there are other groundwood stocks as well that are coated papers. A paper stock that includes no groundwood component is called a “free-sheet.”

Groundwood can still be recycled into things such as additional newsprint and containerboard, but not into a white paper grade. Therefore, it cannot be placed in the same bin as normal paper recycling. Any paper that contains lignin will yellow and become brittle over time.

Kraft Paper Scrap

Kraft comes from the German word meaning strong. Kraft paper is made from at least 80% sulfate wood pulp. It is course and exceptionally strong, making it well suited for a packaging substrate. It is sometimes made with a rough surface to prevent bags from sliding off pallets.

The term “kraft” simply refers to paper fiber that has not been bleached to white. Kraft products can be made of recycled material, or 100% virgin paper pulp (the stuff direct from trees).
